In December 2005 Bus-Arena.com's previous incarnation,Transport in Ireland, paid a visit to the RH's domiciled in Oxford, getting RH12 in the process.
On August 17th 2007 we returned to Oxford on a day trip from London. All 4 Tappins RH's were out in Force. The following feature will show some accordingly.
The Above photo, taken at Oxford's Aldates Street, shows Tappins No.51,better known in Dublin as Ex Ringsend RH13.She was part of the 4 RH's sold to Tappins,Didcot in 2002/2003 following withdrawl from Ringsend Garage in June 2002.
All 4 RH's were new to Dublin Bus in June/July 1990.
Tappins No.54,formly Dublin Bus's RH10,rounds the corner at Magdalen Street.
All 4 RH's were sold to Tappins in March 2003.The have an unusual roof arrangement,in that no dome exists, and much of the front window has been scaled down. Most Open top RH's to date have a partical dome.
