A lot of Irish bus websites seem to be going Enviro Enviro Enviro these days,so here's only a small feature to them.

On Thursday September 6th Clontarf accepted it's first brand new buses since the arrival of AV416/7 in 2005 into service,in the form of the EV Class.EV12 is seen above at the Malahide terminus of Route 32A on the evening of the 6th.

Some more views of EV12.Clontarf had EV10,11,12 &16 in service on their first day at the depot.

Clontarf is due to recieve EV9-22 in total to replace it's RA fleet, consisting of RA240/241/243/244/248 &264-275.RA271 & 274 are the first casulties so far.

Routes traversed by the first 4 veichles include the 31,32,32A & 42.

By September 9th,the Class seemed divided between the 32 Group and the 42,in short serving Malahide & Portmarnock.

On the afformentioned day,EV10 is seen here at the 32/B terminus in Portmarnock, after working the 32B from Eden Quay.

The Class is expected to eventually reach 50 strong, with Donnybrook & Harristown next to recieve.

Bus-Arena.com apoligises for the poor quality of some of the photos,it was beginning to get dark by the point they were taken, just before the 19.05 departure from Malahide.
